Which one has more power?
In our assessment, the Head Coello Motion 2025 rates 4 out of 5 on our power versus control scale, giving it a clear focus on offensive performance. The manufacturer specifies a high balance on a 360 g frame, combined with a Carbon Hybrid face and a Power Foam core. In our assessment, the core hardness is soft. High balance provides noticeable leverage when finishing points overhead, making it effective for flat smashes, fast viboras, and aggressive bandejas when attacking from the net position.
On the other hand, the Wilson Bela Pro V3 receives a 3 out of 5 power versus control rating in our assessment, reflecting an even balance between power and control. The manufacturer states that the Wilson racket features an even balance, a 370 g weight, a Carbon 24K frame, and a medium core. While it weighs 10 grams more than the Head model, its even balance distributes mass closer to the hand rather than the tip. As a result, it produces solid impact stability without the heavy overhead whip of a high-balance frame.
Which is easier to play and defend with?
When defending off the glass or managing quick defensive block shots in deep court scenarios, the Wilson Bela Pro V3 offers greater forgiveness. In our assessment, the Wilson features a medium sweet spot, whereas the Head Coello Motion 2025 has a small sweet spot. The manufacturer also highlights a teardrop shape for the Wilson Bela Pro V3, which helps maintain a predictable contact area on low lobs and wall returns.
The Head Coello Motion 2025, which we assess as having a diamond shape, demands superior precision. With its high balance stated by the manufacturer and a small sweet spot in our assessment, off-center hits near the back glass may prove less forgiving. However, for players with accurate timing, the lighter 360 g static weight declared by the manufacturer keeps the racket quick through the air despite its head-heavy nature.
What are the key trade-offs between these two models?
The main trade-offs revolve around playing style, sweet spot size, and weight distribution. In our assessment, the Head Coello Motion 2025 is tailored for an attacker profile, whereas the Wilson Bela Pro V3 targets a builder profile.
If you choose the Head Coello Motion 2025, you gain high power output for attacking plays, supported by a soft core hardness in our assessment and a Power Foam core stated by the brand. The trade-off is a small sweet spot in our assessment, which leaves less room for error on defensive shots.
If you select the Wilson Bela Pro V3, you get an even-balanced setup with a medium core and Carbon 24K frame (as stated by the manufacturer), paired with a medium sweet spot in our assessment. The trade-off is a heavier static weight of 370 g, which offers stability but lacks the extreme tip speed of a high-balance head.
