Which one has more power?
When evaluating offensive capabilities, the Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2025 stands out as a pure power option. In our assessment, we rate the Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2025 at 5 out of 5 on the power versus control scale, placing it firmly in the pure power category. Its diamond shape combined with a manufacturer-specified Medium+ core creates an aggressive setup suited for overhead finishing, flat smashes, and heavy viboras at the net.
By contrast, the Bullpadel Vertex Advance offers a more balanced response despite its diamond shape. In our assessment, we rate its power versus control output at 3 out of 5. While its diamond geometry naturally aids in generating leverage during aerial shots, the overall response is tuned for manageable power rather than maximum impact. Players executing offensive bandejas or baseline drive shots with the Vertex Advance will find a balance between depth and ball control rather than sheer speed.
Which is easier to play and defend with?
The Bullpadel Vertex Advance incorporates key design choices that enhance playability for evolving players. The manufacturer assigns it an intermediate player level and builds it with a low balance alongside a weight range of 365–375 g and a standard 38 mm thickness. Low balance in a diamond shape reduces head heaviness, making the racket easier to swing rapidly during fast exchanges at the net or when defending off the back glass. The face material, developed by Bullpadel, blends carbon fiber with fiberglass. This combination typically softens ball impact compared to full carbon weaves. In our assessment, we rate its sweet spot as small, which still requires accurate contact, though its medium core hardness provides steady feedback.
The Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2025 is built specifically for advanced players. Its weight is specified at 365 g, but the manufacturer does not state its balance, thickness, or face material composition. In our assessment, we rate its sweet spot as small and its core hardness as medium. Because it is optimized for high power, defending deep in the court requires precise technique to manage the rebound and keep low wall exits inside the lines.
