Which one offers more power on the court?
In our assessment, the Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2026 delivers slightly higher power output, earning a maximum score of 5 out of 5 on our power versus control scale. By comparison, we rate the Bullpadel Vertex 05 at a 4 out of 5 for power versus control. Both models utilize a diamond head shape engineered for aggressive offensive play, making them well-suited for overhead execution such as smashes, aggressive bandejas, and sharp viboras.
The Bullpadel Vertex 05 relies on a high balance measured at 25.4 cm alongside a 365–375 g weight profile and a 38 mm thickness to drive mass through the ball. The Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2026 comes with a fixed weight of 365 g and a Medium+ core, as specified by its manufacturer, though its balance point and frame thickness are not stated. For attackers seeking absolute maximum pop at the net, our rating gives the edge to the Oxdog, while the Vertex 05 provides significant power with slightly elevated control characteristics.
Which is easier to play with and handle?
Neither racket is built for forgiveness or effortless defense. In our assessment, both the Bullpadel Vertex 05 and the Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2026 feature a small sweet spot, meaning players must consistently hit the ball cleanly near the center of the face. In defensive situations deep off the back glass or when scrambling for low lobs, off-center contact will yield diminished depth and less control.
Handling varies somewhat based on physical attributes. The Vertex 05 is rated for pro-level players and combines a weight of 365–375 g with a high 25.4 cm balance point, creating more head-heavy momentum during quick wrist transitions. The Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2026 is designated for advanced players and features a weight of 365 g, though its exact balance is not stated by the manufacturer. In our assessment, both rackets share a medium core hardness rating, offering a direct, balanced touch that avoids feeling overly soft on firm volleys or excessively harsh on arm comfort.
