Which one has more power?
In our assessment, the Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2025 delivers higher overall power than the Bullpadel Vertex 05. We rate the Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2025 at a 5 out of 5 on our power versus control scale (where 1 represents pure control and 5 represents pure power). The manufacturer specifies a Medium+ core for this model, which works in tandem with its diamond shape to maximize leverage on attacking shots.
By comparison, we rate the Bullpadel Vertex 05 at a 4 out of 5 for power. The Vertex 05 carries official specifications of a high balance (25.4 cm), a standard 38 mm profile thickness, and a weight range of 365–375 g. While its high balance provides considerable force behind smashes, its power rating sits just below the Oxdog in our evaluation, offering a slightly more controlled response within the power category.
Which is easier to play?
Neither frame is built for easy playability, as both target experienced players with refined technique. In our assessment, both the Bullpadel Vertex 05 and the Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2025 feature a small sweet spot. Off-center shots with either racket will yield less forgiveness when defending deep in the court or attempting defensive lobs under pressure.
From an official standpoint, Bullpadel targets the Vertex 05 at pro players, while Oxdog designs the Ultimate Pro 2025 for advanced players. The Vertex 05 carries a heavier potential weight range (365–375 g) paired with a high balance, demanding strong wrist and arm stability during fast defensive transitions. The Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2025 has a fixed stated weight of 365 g, though its exact balance measurement and frame thickness are not stated by the manufacturer.
How do they perform in real padel situations?
In offensive scenarios at the net, both diamond-shaped rackets excel at finishing points. When striking a smash or aggressive vibora, the Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2025 uses its extreme power rating (5/5 in our assessment) and Medium+ core to accelerate the ball rapidly. Attackers who rely on pure force to bring the ball back to their court will find higher power potential here.
When playing controlled bandejas or overhead setup shots, the Bullpadel Vertex 05 relies on its high 25.4 cm balance and 38 mm profile thickness to drive deep, penetrating balls into the opponent's corners. In our assessment, both rackets possess a medium core hardness, giving comfortable feedback when blocking fast incoming drives. However, when defending off the back glass, both require precise footwork and consistent contact due to their small sweet spots. Arm comfort will largely depend on player technique, as both models demand active swing speeds to maneuver effectively.
