Which one has more power?
In our assessment, the Head Coello Pro 2026 provides significantly more power, scoring a 5 out of 5 on our power versus control scale. The high balance stated by the manufacturer, combined with our assessment of its diamond shape and soft Power Foam core, makes it built for aggressive offensive shots such as smashes and forceful viboras at the net.
Conversely, in our assessment, the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid rates at a 2 on our power versus control scale, placing its primary focus on control. While the manufacturer states it features a dual core and Carbon 12K frame designed for pro-level play, it yields a more controlled response when hitting overheads rather than maximum raw output.
Which is easier to play and defend with?
When defending off the glass or attempting delicate bandeja placement, sweet spot size and balance play a critical role. In our assessment, the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid is easier to manage in defensive scenarios because of its medium sweet spot and hybrid shape. Its medium core hardness in our assessment offers predictable ball exit when resetting play from the back of the court.
On the other hand, we rate the Head Coello Pro 2026 as having a small sweet spot. Paired with its high balance and soft core hardness, defensive shots off center may require more precise timing. However, when struck cleanly in the sweet spot, the soft Power Foam core helps absorb impact and propel the ball back deep into the opponent's court.
