Which one has more power?
In our assessment, the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 provides greater power output, earning a 4 out of 5 on our power versus control scale, compared to a 3 out of 5 for the Wilson Bela Pro V3. The diamond shape of the Vertex 04 Comfort naturally concentrates weight higher up on the racket, delivering added leverage on overhead shots such as aggressive smashes and fast viboras. The Wilson Bela Pro V3, with its teardrop shape and Carbon 24K frame construction, offers a more neutral power response. While both rackets share a medium core hardness in our assessment (and Wilson officially lists a medium core), the structural difference gives the Vertex 04 Comfort an edge for offensive acceleration at the net.
Which is easier to play and defend with?
When defending off the glass or retrieving tough lobs from the back of the court, sweet spot size and forgiveness are critical factors. In our assessment, the Wilson Bela Pro V3 features a medium sweet spot, making it easier to handle during defensive rallies, lobbing under pressure, and low-glass rebounds. Its teardrop geometry creates a more forgiving hitting surface. Conversely, we assess the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 as having a small sweet spot, which is typical for diamond-shaped frames. Off-center hits on the Vertex may result in less ball output during fast defensive exchanges. Consequently, players who rely on consistent defensive resets and precise point construction will find the Wilson Bela Pro V3 more forgiving to play with.
How do they perform in real padel situations?
During net exchanges, the Wilson Bela Pro V3 excels in tactical point construction, offering reliable feel on block volleys, chiquitas, and controlled placement into the corners. Its fixed weight of 370 g combined with an even balance gives it structural stability against heavy incoming fast shots. The Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025, weighing between 360 g and 370 g with a 25.4 cm balance point, is built to transition quickly from build-up play to explosive point finishing. When given an opportunity for an overhead, the diamond shape of the Vertex allows left-side attackers to hit high-pacing smashes and aggressive viboras with superior power. However, when pinned in the back court defending against fast wall bounces, the larger medium sweet spot of the Wilson provides greater security than the smaller sweet spot of the Vertex.
