Which one has more power?
Both rackets are engineered with a diamond head shape, making them naturally oriented toward an aggressive, net-dominant style of play. However, in our assessment, the Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2026 takes the lead in total output with a power rating of 5 out of 5 on our scale. The manufacturer states that the Oxdog model features a Medium+ core, which delivers extra kick when accelerating through high ball contacts.
By comparison, we rate the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 at a 4 out of 5 for power. The manufacturer specifies an even balance set at 25.4 cm and a weight range of 360–370 g with a standard 38 mm thickness. While it still offers significant punch for overheads, our assessment rates it slightly behind the Oxdog in terms of pure finishing potential.
Which is easier to play?
Neither model is built for beginners or players looking for forgiving gear. Both rackets are rated for advanced players and feature a small sweet spot in our assessment. This means off-center strikes off the glass or during defensive recovery will reduce output and require clean technique.
The Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 provides clear physical specs: an even balance (25.4 cm) combined with a weight between 360 g and 370 g, offering a structured setup for control on transition shots. For the Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2026, the exact balance point, balance type, and frame thickness are not stated by the manufacturer, though it comes in at a fixed weight of 365 g. Both rackets feature a medium core hardness in our assessment, meaning neither is overly soft or excessively rigid, requiring strong arm work to manage deep lobs under pressure.
How do they perform in key padel situations?
In attacking net play, both rackets shine during high-impact shots. When stepping up for a smash or a heavy vibora, the Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2026 gives players maximum power potential (rated 5 out of 5 by us), allowing aggressive left-side attackers to win points decisively. The Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 remains potent at the net, providing strong force on aggressive volleys and bandejas with a 4 out of 5 power rating, supported by its even balance.
During defensive moments, such as defending off the back glass, both models demand accuracy. Because we assess both rackets as having a small sweet spot, mis-hits when pushing deep lobs out of the corners will be punished. Players on the right side or defensive specialists may find the precision demands challenging, while advanced attackers will appreciate the sharp feedback when ball contact is centered.
