The Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 is best suited for advanced offensive players who rely on power and precise overhead attacks. Conversely, the NOX X-Hero caters directly to beginners, builders, and counter-players who need high forgiveness, control, and easy handling. Choosing between the two comes down to whether your style demands high-powered finishing at the net or consistency and ease of defense from the back of the court.

Which one has more power?
For players looking to dominate aerial points and exert pressure at the net, the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 provides significantly more power output. In our assessment, we rate its power-vs-control dynamic at a 4 out of 5, placing it distinctly on the offensive side of the spectrum. Its diamond geometry and heavier overall build help generate heavy momentum on aggressive smashes and fast viboras, allowing advanced players to force errors from their opponents.
In contrast, we rate the NOX X-Hero at a 1 on our power-vs-control scale, defining it strictly as a control-oriented racket. It is designed to offer predictable ball output rather than explosive pace. While it allows players to push the ball deep with control, it lacks the inherent power necessary for high-velocity overheads and aggressive finishing shots.
Which is easier to play and defend with?
The NOX X-Hero is vastly more accessible and forgiving, making it exceptionally easier to play with during defensive rallies. Featuring a round head shape and what we rate as a large sweet spot, it helps keep shots stable even when contact is made off-center. When defending off the glass or attempting defensive lobs under pressure, this forgiving nature ensures consistency and helps players maintain control of the point.
On the other hand, the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 demands high technical accuracy. In our assessment, it features a small sweet spot, which can penalize late contact or off-center hits. While an experienced player will find incredible accuracy when hitting cleanly, newer players will likely struggle to manage fast wall rebounds or perform controlled bandejas under pressure.
How do the specifications impact overall performance?
The overall feel on court is shaped by two distinctly different construction philosophies. The NOX X-Hero utilizes Fiber Glass 3K on the face alongside an HR3 WHITE EVA core. This combination, paired with a lighter frame weight, creates an easy-to-handle tool for entry-level players. Note that its balance, frame thickness, and season are not stated by the manufacturer.
The Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 features an even balance point at 25.4 cm and a standard 38 mm thickness, though its face and core materials are not stated by the manufacturer. Both rackets share a medium core hardness in our assessment, offering a balanced feel that is neither overly rigid nor excessively soft. However, the extra weight and specialized diamond structure of the Bullpadel give it greater stability during heavy net collisions, whereas the lighter frame of the NOX aids rapid defensive adjustments.
Who should buy which?
Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025:
- Advanced players with well-established technical foundations and high swing speed.
- Left-side attackers or aggressive right-side players looking to dictate points with aggressive bandejas, viboras, and power smashes.

NOX X-Hero:
- Beginner padel players who are learning foundational shots and working on consistency.
- Right-side builders and counter-attackers who focus on resetting the point, tactical placement, and reducing unforced errors.
