Which one has more power?
In our assessment, the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 is the more power-oriented option, receiving a 4 out of 5 on our power vs. control scale (where 1 represents pure control and 5 represents pure power). Its diamond shape combined with an even balance at 25.4 cm helps power hitters generate leverage during attacking situations, such as smashes, offensive bandejas, and aggressive block-volleys at the net.
By contrast, we rate the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid at a 2 out of 5 for power vs. control, leaning heavily toward control and precision. Built with a hybrid shape, a Carbon 12K frame, and a dual core, the Vertex 05 Hybrid is tailored for controlled build-up play, accurate placement, and counter-attacking rather than absolute finishing power.
Which is easier to play and handle off the glass?
Defending fast balls off the glass and resetting deep lobs require a forgiving contact zone and predictable handling. In our assessment, the Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid offers better playability on defense due to its medium sweet spot. This extra margin for error allows players to manage off-center hits when defending under pressure.
Conversely, we rate the Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 as having a small sweet spot. Advanced attackers who choose this diamond-shaped frame must maintain clean, precise contact, particularly when scrambling in the back corners or executing precise defensive lobs. Both models share a medium core hardness in our assessment, giving reliable feedback without feeling overly rigid. Note that while the Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 features an even balance, 38 mm thickness, and weighs 360–370 g, the Vertex 05 Hybrid weighs 365–375 g, while its exact balance point and thickness are not stated by the manufacturer.
Who should buy which?

- Advanced players who focus on an aggressive, attacking style of play.
- Left-side or offensive players who want high power potential (we rate it 4/5) for smashes and rapid net exchanges.
- Attackers comfortable hitting with a smaller sweet spot and a diamond geometry.
Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid is best for:
- Pro-level players seeking a balanced, highly controlled setup (we rate it 2/5 for power vs. control).
- Allrounders and attackers who play both offensive and defensive roles across the court.
- Players who prefer a hybrid shape with a medium sweet spot, Carbon 12K frame, and dual core construction.
