Which racket delivers more power?
In our assessment, the Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2025 sits at a 5 out of 5 on our power versus control scale, classifying it as a pure power racket. Its diamond shape inherently shifts mass higher up the frame, which helps generate heavy leverage on overhead shots like the smash and aggressive vibora.
By contrast, we rate the Bullpadel Neuron 02 at a 3 out of 5 for power versus control, marking it as a neutral, balanced option. While its hard core (in our assessment) provides solid output when hitting aggressively, the hybrid shape and even balance keep the pop more controlled rather than purely explosive. If your primary goal is finishing points at the net with maximum pace, the Oxdog frame offers the higher power ceiling based on our evaluation scale.
Which is easier to play with and defend?
Defending off the glass requires maneuverability and a forgiving hit zone. The Bullpadel Neuron 02 features a hybrid shape, an even balance of 25.5 cm, and what we rate as a medium sweet spot. This combination makes it easier to handle during low-wall rebounds and fast defensive exchanges, offering consistent response across the face even though its core is hard.
The Oxdog Ultimate Pro 2025 presents a steeper learning curve in defense. In our assessment, it features a small sweet spot paired with a diamond shape. Off-center hits while defending deep in the court may lose depth more quickly. However, advanced players with accurate timing will manage well, benefiting from its lighter stated weight of 365 g compared to the Neuron 02's 365–375 g range.
How do their specs and construction compare?
Manufacturer specifications highlight distinct design approaches for different skill tiers. The specific core material used by the manufacturer is not stated, though in our assessment, we rate its core hardness as hard.
Oxdog builds the Ultimate Pro 2025 for advanced players, utilizing a diamond shape and a Medium+ core for its 2025 lineup. The manufacturer does not state the frame thickness or balance measurement for this model. In our assessment, we evaluate its core feel as medium hardness overall.
